Plant Health
When we source trees and plants from other countries we are always aware of the potential threat that they can bring in disease. We would never want stock that we sell, our existing stock or any other gardens in our country to experience such harmful diseases, healthy plants are our passion.
We ensure that all of the plants and trees we bring in have gone through strict checks and they are disease free. Quite often they have their own passports, these can be found attached to the trunks/stems of our plants a are orange coloured tags.
We are officially registered to sell checked plants from the Spanish authority Generalitat Valenciana (ES-17-12/1055).
Local Delivery Service
In order to help those spending more time in their gardens, we are offering a daily delivery service within a 10 mile radius of the nursery. You can also collect your plants from outside the Nursery (payments made in advance) if you are continuing to shield. Your custom is much appreciated.

We offer you a wide range of quality plants, shrubs, climbers ,ornamental and fruit trees as well as fruit, vegetables and herbs at affordable prices as they become available through the season. See seasonal planting pages for more details. We also have an extensive range of pots, many at 50% off the original retail price, and new for this season Logs, Coal (Smokeless and House) & Kindling.
We have a seasonal hanging basket refill service, along with supplying hundreds of new hanging baskets made to order with colours chosen by you. This is a very popular service for the Summer baskets, and we advise that you book early, before the end of March. We take orders from February for Summer baskets and August for Winter baskets.

If you unable to find the plant you are looking for from the wide selection at the Nursery, we offer a plant ordering service for plants that can be sourced from our local suppliers.
We are happy to offer advice on specific requirements that you may have when planning your garden and containers. For example which plants grow better in shade or sun and in different soil types.
Payment can be made by Credit Card/Debit Card and Cash (American Express and Diners excluded)
Gift vouchers
Capel Cottage Nursery gift vouchers are available, and the wording can be personalised (minimum 24 hours notice required). We are unable to accept any other gift voucher scheme. Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given, but any remaining balance may be spent at a later date.
