Capel Cottage Nursery, proudly serving Kent since 1997
Capel Cottage Nursery is a charming independent nursery conveniently located on the A228 within a quick drive of Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone and Tonbridge. We have ample car parking and paved access for disabled visitors and families with pushchairs.
We stock a wide range of garden plants for all situations and seasons. We have an extensive stock of cottage garden perennials, annuals, trees, shrubs vegetables and herbs. We grow most of our own plants on site, both out of doors and undercover. We also stock a wide range of plant care products, pots, garden ornaments and furniture as well as landscaping products.
As we celebrate our 25th anniversary we are proud that our commitment to quality, expert knowledge and friendly, personal service has made us the nursery of choice for locals as well as garden enthusiasts from further afield.

Spring
MARCH – MAY
A huge selection of cottage garden perennials and potted bulbs are available throughout Spring and it’s the perfect time to plant new roses.
Summer
JUNE – AUGUST
Our greenhouses are packed with colour and plant choice for your summer gardens, containers and hanging baskets.
Autumn
SEPTEMBER – NOVEMBER
Choose from pansies and violas in every colour imaginable to polyanthus and bedding primrose, wallflowers to spring bulbs and late summer heathers.
Winter
DECEMBER – FEBRUARY
Hellebores come into their own, heucheras are unsurpassed for outstanding colour and heathers will flower until April. It’s the ideal time to plant hedging and potted bulbs are now available.
